Purpose:
|
The organization will hold a gathering for 60 young Aboriginal women between the ages of 17-25 in New Brunswick. The goals of the project are to promote cultural knowledge and connections among young Aboriginal women; increase awareness of resources and strategies to deal with violence and cyber-bullying; to increase awareness of resources and options for post-secondary education and to build self-esteem and self-confidence of young Aboriginal women.
