Esk'etemc has entered into a funding agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the Esk'etemc Restorative Justice Program.
The Program delivers a holistic, culturally and community-appropriate service, coordinated across various federal and provincial jurisdictions and community agencies to meet the needs of the Esk'etemc community.
The goal of the Program is to facilitate resolution of crimes, healing, recovery and prevention. The majority of incidents are handled through traditional Healing Circles - a non-judgmental, safe environment for the resolution of cases.
