Purpose:

The Canadian Red Cross is proposing to develop an online training-trainers pilot program on Child Sexual Abuse Protection, Intervention and Canada's Laws training material in both official languages. This would be built upon and strengthen the existing Canadian Red Cross's classroom delivery method on the issue. The online training will allow professionals and paraprofessionals across Canada, including those in rural and remote areas, access to the information in a time-flexible, facilitated, knowledgeable environment. They will also have the opportunity to learn from their peers across the country and thereby increase their network.
