Purpose:

The purpose of the project is to update the Spousal Support Advisory Guidelines User's Guide which is a tool to assist professionals and self-represented litigants in using the Spousal Support Advisory Guidelines. Several professional legal education sessions will be held across the country to present the updated user's guide to judges, lawyers and mediators. The updated user's guide will be made available on the Department of Justice Canada website in both official languages.
