Purpose:

The organization will hire and train one individual in the specialized area of child abuse forensic interviewing, to build capacity and provide support and expertise to rural areas and southern Alberta where this expertise does not exist. This model will ensure that interviews being conducted for child abuse are developmentally appropriate, legally sound, less traumatizing for children and support staff regardless of their geographic location.
