Purpose:

The project will develop improved outreach and communication strategies between police, the sex industry and the community-at-large in order to strengthen community safety. Activities include education on the trauma and risk related to the sex industry, communicating information on the support network available for those people who wish to exit the sex industry, managing harm associated within the sex industry, and establishing a mutually shared agreement on the social, moral and legal obligation to address child exploitation and human trafficking that exists within the sex industry and in other environments.
