The organization will provide professional online and ongoing support to program managers and volunteers to address the psychological consequence of working with victims of crime; deliver vicarious trauma training sessions to staff and volunteers within police-based victim service programs in all eleven (11) regions of Alberta; and undertake a literature review to examine best approaches on compassion fatigue and self-care practices.
