Purpose:

The organization will collaborate with the Victims Sexual Assault Centre, Victoria Child Abuse Prevention and Counselling Centre and Team Victoria (comprised of forensic nurse examiners, law enforcement, Crown, and victim services) to enhance the current response for victims of sexual assault and child abuse in the Greater Victoria region. The goal is to create a holistic model of service delivery shifting key services and supports for victims from the hospital and police stations to a one integrated services location in a welcoming, accessible, child-friendly, supportive and healing environment.
