Purpose:

The organization will conduct a needs assessment and feasibility study to determine if a Child and Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC) is needed in the London/Middlesex area. Building on the existing collaboration among multiple service providers and key stakeholders, the project will investigate the gaps in the delivery of services to children and youth who are victims/witnesses of maltreatment, identify recommendations for a well-coordinated service delivery model leading to more positive outcomes for children, families and the community, and provide the foundation for the development and creation of a new of a CYAC in the community.
