Purpose:

The project seeks to better understand the issue of missing and murdered Inuit women and girls in Quebec. The organization will conduct a survey to identify the cases, and evaluate the breadth and the nature of the issue in Nunavik in order to determine the needs and consider the strategies to put forward. The organization will also hold a gathering of the families of missing or murdered Inuit women to provide them with a space to share, grieve and heal, leading to the creation of a working committee on the issue of missing and murdered Inuit women.
