Purpose:

The Public Legal Information Association of Newfoundland has entered into a funding agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the "Needs Assessment for Violence Prevention and Awareness Programs in Aboriginal Communities" project. The Recipient will conduct a series of meetings with key stakeholders in Aboriginal communities in Newfoundland and Labrador to identify major issues facing Aboriginal victims of violence in the province.
