Purpose:

The organization will conduct a feasibility study to determine if a child advocacy centre is needed in Québec City and area. The project will allow for significant community consultation with respect to improving delivery of services to children and youth affected by crime. The study will review information concerning the current volume and intensity of cases involving child and youth victimization, an assessment of strengths and weaknesses of their current system, improved communication and cooperation among professionals and whether a child advocacy centre would be effective and sustainable in their community.
