Purpose:

The organization will review, refine and translate a group therapy manual. It will also develop and implement a group support program for children between the ages of 6-12 that have experienced sexual abuse, and their families. The project aims to address the needs of young victims of sexual abuse and prevent some of the shorter and longer-term impacts of abuse on children. It will also promote resilience in the children that participate and seek to provide support to their parents so that they have the tools to support their children effectively.
