Purpose:

The project will see the development of a French language common law certificate programme that will be offered at English-speaking host institutions. In addition to offering law courses in French, the certificate programme will also include a semester at the University of Ottawa - Common Law Program in French, a moot court exercise, mentoring activities and internships in organizations that offer legal services in French.
