Purpose:

The Yorkton Tribal Administration Inc. has entered into a funding agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage a Saskatchewan Community Justice Gathering. The theme and title for the gathering is "Traditional Family and Community Relationships Project".
Working in partnership with two other Tribal Councils, the project will focus on relationships, family violence, violence against women and children, and family and community roles and responsibilities to reduce and eliminate violence.
The theme and topics of this gathering will give participants useful, relevant information on what resources are available and strategies to reduce violence and crime in these areas.
