Purpose:
|
This project will support NCCABC in providing a 4 day courtworker training event to be held in March 2016. This training will provide BC courtworkers the opportunity to come together to: 1) identify the overarching, unmet and emerging regional needs of clients and the resources available in those regions; 2) to receive training on vicarious trauma as it affects their clients; 3) to participate in a facilitated session on overrepresentation of Indigenous people in the criminal justice system.
