Purpose:

The objectives of the project are to continue to study whether an integrated approach to handling domestic family disputes and criminal cases in a single court produces better outcomes. The project will benefit federal and provincial governments, the judiciary, professionals and victim advocates in assessing whether there has been an improved judicial response to domestic violence.
