Purpose:

The Saskatoon Tribal Council Inc. has entered into a funding agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage and host a Saskatchewan regional gathering entitled 'Indigenous Ideologies: A Restorative Approach'.
The overall objective is to enhance and develop knowledge and understanding about restorative justice programs and the processes utilized in Saskatchewan's Indigenous communities. Furthermore, this gathering will assist in balancing the Canadian legal system and the traditional value system by highlighting holistic restorative justice approaches and enhancing traditional knowledge and protocols in relation to Justice.
