Purpose:

Punky Lake Wilderness Camp Society has entered into an agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the "First Nations Community Court Elder Training" Project.
The Recipient will train a Council of Elders, one from each of the six Tsilquot'in communities to support the development of a new First Nations Community Court in Williams Lake. Training will be on court proceedings by a judge and Crown. Training will also be provided by an Elder from the Cknucwentn First Nations Court in Kamloops.
