Purpose:

The Yellowknives Dene First Nation has entered into a funding agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to deliver a project titled, 2016-2017 Community Collaborative Re-integration Project.
The Recipient will host and organize training on the re-integration of offenders to members of the Justice Committee. Through this training, NWT Corrections, Probation Officers and Justice Coordinators will benefit from the following: exploration of Correction Canada's project model on re-integration as it is being used in the North, develop new skills and knowledge base involving release planning practices.
