Purpose:

In collaboration with more than 28 public, private and community service providers, the organization will implement an intervention program to improve access to community-based intervention services related to sexual violence against women and girls in northwestern New Brunswick. This program will allow for referrals of services and communities to resources that offer specialized interventions and support needed to adequately meet the specific needs of victims of sexual assaults. The program also aims to implement awareness and education strategies to demystify and reduce stereotypes related to sexual violence.
