Purpose:

The Manitoba Metis Federation Inc. has entered into a funding agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the Life Skills Training Project. The purpose of this project is to support the establishment, implementation and delivery of a Life Skills Program. The Program will be offered to individuals diverted from the formal court system, or court ordered to attend programming, and may prevent them from reoffending by providing them with tools and strategies to deal with issues in a more productive way.
