Peavine Métis Settlement has entered into a funding agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to deliver a project titled, "Peavine Youth Justice Committee Training."
The Recipient will organize, host and deliver a five-day training for new members of the Peavine Youth Justice Committee on the following justice related topics: Gladue report writing, providing supports to FASD and other high needs clients, and Restorative Justice Training. Training will equip Committee members with the necessary skills for the justice committee, in addition to being recognized by the Province of Alberta as a sanctioned Restorative Justice program.
