Purpose:

The goals of the project are to increase access to victims services and the justice system for persons with disabilities; to increase knowledge, awareness and capacity of victim service organizations to provide accessible and inclusive information and supports for people with disabilities; and to improve collaboration between the disability community, victim service providers and the justice system sectors to create effective and appropriate information resources to better support people with disabilities who are victims of crime. The organization will develop accessible justice information videos, graphic-enhanced information help sheets and develop and deliver four webinars for service providers.
