The File Hills Qu'Appelle Tribal Council Inc. has entered into a funding agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the File Hills Qu'Appelle Tribal Council Community Justice Program. The Restorative Justice Unit coordinates the development and implementation of community justice structures, plans and services for the eleven member First Nations. Each First Nation is unique with specific justice priorities. The Community Justice Committees identify areas of concern specific to their communities and justice development officers assist in the research and development of appropriate solutions.
