Purpose:

The Northwest Professional Services Corporation has entered into a funding agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to deliver the Battlefords Tribal Council Community Justice Program to seven local First Nations. The Program implements, coordinates and delivers community justice programming. This includes alternative measures, conflict resolution, reintegration services and educational awareness. The result is reducing crime rates and recidivism, while addressing the overall negative representation of First Nations people within the justice system.
