Purpose:
|
Yukon Victim Services will work with families of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, community organizations and other stakeholders to develop a Family Information Liaison Unit in Yukon that is culturally safe, trauma informed and incorporates the recommendations of families. In this first phase, Yukon Victim Services will also establish partnerships with agencies and systems to ensure that the mechanisms necessary to address the information needs of families are in place.
