Purpose:

The organization will conduct a feasibility study for the development of college-level post diploma Victimology training. The study will consist of an inventory of existing programs and training in victimology in Canada and around the world, an analysis of course curriculums and programs in this area or in related fields in Canada, a collection of best practices, as well as interviews with colleges and universities with programs in this field. An inventory of services available to organizations serving persons who have been victims of crime will also be created and meetings with these organizations will complete the needs assessment.
