The goal of the project is to increase awareness about violence against girls and women and develop skills and strategies to reduce its occurrence. The organization will implement the Mentors in Violence Prevention Program developed by Jackson Katz, a leading anti-sexist male activist. After completing the program, community role models and key influencers from education and law enforcement sectors will train 10 adult and 20 student mentors to engage younger students in workshops and group discussions to explore attitudes and promote positive strategies for standing up against disrespectful behaviour and violence towards girls and women in the community.
