Purpose:

The recipient proposes to circulate an innovative intervention tool (JAGTAM questionnaire) to youth who are, or are at risk of becoming, involved with guns, gangs and drugs, who attend one of the 14 alternative justice organizations of Québec, and to gather the data and analyze the results. This validation will be used to better clarify the criteria behind differential responses. The organization will provide training concurrently to youth workers at alternative justice organizations using these proposed approaches. Furthermore, the effectiveness of differential responses will be assessed by studying a sample group of youth workers and youth, and how the proposed approaches are being implemented.
