Purpose:

The organization will work with existing and new community partners to enhance, innovate and change the experience of sexual assault claimants from underserved neighbourhoods and communities in Toronto when they access the criminal justice system. They will work with Aboriginal Legal Services of Toronto, the Sexual Assault Domestic Violence Care Centre at the Women's College Hospital, and their clinic's clients. Their work will focus on enhancing individual access to justice for the most marginalized including: Indigenous women, women from immigrant, refugee and precarious status communities, those with mental health disabilities, LBT women and those with non-binary gender identity and women unable to access comparable supports.
