Purpose:
|
The organization will hire a Victim's Navigation Specialist to enhance support and services, participation in the justice system and reduce trauma for victims and survivors of sexual assault. The role of the Victim's Navigation Specialist will be to reduce rates of secondary victimization through comprehensive and coordinated wrap around support such as the provision of information and education about court processes, assistance in understanding victim's rights, pre and post reporting options, criminal case update and systems navigation of mental and medical health services.
