Purpose:

The organization will provide, within the first 7 days of an assault taking place, 24/7 emergency response in the form of emotional support, safety planning, information regarding medical and forensic procedures, options for reporting to police, referrals for follow up counselling, justice-related services and advocacy to adult complainants of all genders who are survivors of a sexualized assault. The program will deliver 6 psycho-educational workshops to local area service providers to enhance their understanding of sexualized violence through a trauma-informed lens. The program will also coordinate 3 annual social action committee events to increase community understanding of gender-based sexualized violence.
