The Department of Justice Canada will provide a grant to Cowessess First Nation to support the one-time purchase of office equipment to support the operation of its Cowessess First Nation Community Justice Program.
The objectives of the Cowessess First Nation Community Justice Program are to facilitate diversion and mediation programming as an alternative to the mainstream justice system for adults and youth. The purchase of office equipment will increase the organization's capacity to report on and deliver its Program.
