Purpose:
|
Victoria Restorative Justice Society (VRJS) will undertake several activities to increase the capacity to support victims and survivors of crime in restorative justice (RJ) processes. VRJS will develop and offer an online course about meeting the needs of victims of crime through RJ and will provide a moderator to facilitate participation in the course. The online course will be offered to RJ practitioners, victim service providers and other relevant government and non-government employees. VRJS will also develop and deliver a four-day training and dialogue event for the Greater Vancouver Area Victim Service Stakeholders.
