Purpose:

The Association des juristes d'expression française de l'Alberta (AJEFA) will organize and conduct two forums for the exchange of information and awareness raising in Edmonton and Calgary with restorative justice (RJ) agencies, victim serving agencies and stakeholders of legal areas.The forums will examine the nature and scope of issues related to RJ programs in Alberta and the challenges encountered in the delivery of these services to victims and survivors of crime who wish to obtain services in French. AJEFA will also create a network of stakeholders that will provide recommendations to maximize the resources available to enhance and improve the delivery and access to services and RJ programs in French.
