Purpose:
|
The Nova Scotia Advisory Council on the Status of Women (NSACSW) will collaborate with a broad range of community-based organisations, including victim-serving organisations and those offering restorative approaches, to explore how a restorative approach may offer improved access to justice for victims of gendered violence. The project will facilitate dialogue and asset mapping, and will highlight principles that will serve to guide future practices and evaluation. The project will increase the knowledge and capacity among organisations by facilitating the identification and sharing of promising practices in victim-centered restorative justice.
