Purpose:

The organization will develop and pilot a new program to provide healing and justice for Indigenous male victims of childhood sexual abuse from communities in Manitoba. In a group setting and in one-on-one sessions with the program facilitator, adult male victims of childhood sexual abuse will learn about the effects of childhood sexual abuse and trauma, identify symptoms and triggers of trauma, explore self-regulation techniques, learn about and practice coping strategies, and explore possibilities of reporting, testifying, or providing victim impact statements.
