Purpose:

The project will consist of weekly workshops related to separation and divorce to enhance awareness and understanding about family law issues such as parenting arrangements and child/spousal support guidelines among immigrant and refugee women. The project will also target settlement service providers, community workers, clergy and diverse faith and interfaith community leaders in the Region of Peel with the objective of understanding how family law works and the options families have.
