Purpose:
|
The organization will run a week-long camp for ten female youth from across the Northwest Territories that are victims of and have survived family and gender-based violence. The camp will focus on helping them to process their experiences in a healthy way, to heal through cultural and athletic pursuits, and to build confidence through skill development and participation in activities that will increase the resiliency and protective factors of youth.
