Purpose:

The organization will undertake a social media and public awareness campaign targeted at the LGBTQ+ community, local partners and the community at large. The project will address the clear increase in hate crimes and other assaults against the LGBTQ+ community, explore community-based safety responses and highlight resources available to victims and their families. The project will also target young LGBTQ+ people to highlight effective networks and support systems available in the community to increase a sense of safety in the community.
