Purpose:

The organization will create Indigenous youth-friendly resources that will provide information about particular aspects of the justice system, including rights, responsibilities and options for Indigenous youth that come into contact with the law. The content of the resources will be curated based on consultation with Indigenous youth, Elders and community leaders. The creation of youth-driven and culturally-anchored resources will provide an opportunity for Indigenous youth to actively participate and share relevant feedback regarding the justice system, leading to the creation of materials that are not only responsive, but also reflective of their values and traditions and responsive to gaps in a culturally empowering way.
