Purpose:

This project will see the development of a series of legal and linguistic tools. These tools include lexicographical production such as the standardization of French common-law terminology, the development of Juridictionnaire and the Juriterm database. As well, the Centre provides reference services and repositories of documents. This project contributes to increasing the capacity of legal professionals, academics, students and legal translators who use the services of the Centre to better service their clients, with the goal of improving access to justice in both official languages.
