The 2009 conference will highlight current issues affecting the rights of families and children, will discuss the need for positive change in respect of those rights, and will look at methods to promote and cause such change involving all levels of societies including government, NGOs, the professions (legal and associated) and society. The 2009 conference will review the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
