Purpose:

The organization will work with Regina Police Service, Regina Probation Services, and the Crown Prosecutors Office to develop a tailored and immediate intervention for victims of domestic violence and abusers in high-risk relationships. Information will be gathered and maintained on each victim and abuser. The partners will develop a process where a quick and individualized response is planned and carried out, and will see each case through to sentencing.
The total requested amount of the project is $83,930. The Family Violence Component - JPIP will provide $33,930 and the Victims of Crime Initiative will provide $50,000.
