Purpose:

This capacity-building project will enable the Elsipogtog Justice Capacity Development Coordinator to begin implementing various community-based justice initiatives as outlined in the Elsipogtog Justice Strategic Plan. The Justice Research Consultant will oversee and assist the community justice stakeholders in the pursuit of creating changes in the administration of justice within the Elsipogtog First Nation community. This will be done through further development and implementation of justice initiatives in existing community justice programs. There will be a focus on continued improvements and expansion in areas of justice that are critical to the advancement of the administration of justice within the First Nation community.
